Small Yet, Meaningful Gift

I got this lovely story from someone....and i want to share it with others.
A married lady was expecting a birthday gift from her husband. For many months she had admired a beautiful diamond ring in showroom, and knowing her husband could afford it, she told him that was all she wanted.
As her birthday approached, this lady awaited signs that her husband had purchased the diamond ring. Finally, on the morning of her birthday, her husband called her into his study room. Her husband told her how proud he was to have such a good wife and told her how much he loved her. He handed her a beautiful wrapped gift box. Curious, the wife opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible, with the wife's name embossed in gold.
Angrily, she raised her voice to her husband and said, 'Withall your money you give me a Bible? and stormed out of the house, leaving her husband. Many years passed and the married lady was very successful in business. She managed to settle for a more beautiful house and a wonderful family, but realized her ex-husband was very old, and thought perhaps she should go to visit him. She had not seen him for many years.
But before she could make arrangements, she received a telegram telling her that her ex-husband had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to her. She needed to come back immediately and take care of things. When she arrived at her ex-husband's house, sudden sadness and regret filled her heart.
She began to search through her ex-husband's important papers and saw the still new Bible, just as she had left it years ago. With tears, she opened the Bible and began to turn the pages.. ......
Her ex-husband had carefully underlined a verse, Matt 7:11 , 'And if you, being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Heavenly Father which is in heaven, give to those who ask Him?'
As she read those words, a tiny package dropped from the back of the Bible. It had a diamond ring with her name engraved on it, the same diamond ring which she saw at the showroom.
On the tag was the date of her birth, and the words....'LUV U ALWAYS'... How many times do we miss God's blessings because they are not packaged as we expected? I trust you enjoyed this.

Between seeing and observing

When I was in the hospital, one specific thing that attracted my attention is looking (or seeing) at various people behaviors. Some seem reluctant as they just like - were forced to accompany their parents (maybe their shy when many pair of eyes stared at them). Some, kept continue hold or more appropriate if I say ‘play’ with their mobile phone while their faces are undeniably bored – me is an exception as I felt fascinated looked and observed “the human” although I’m not a keen observer like Sherlock Holmes. Some, continued talked with others; either they just know that ‘others’ or already know the ‘others’ but merely encountered or talked with the ‘others’. At some point, it isn’t difficult to know whether that ‘others’ really enthusiastically listen or agree with what their partners talked about. Somehow, human just like an open-book – easy to know but hard to understand. While kids just being kids; enjoyed playing around but I bet only some really…really, really know why they were here – those who knows express concern or more appropriate if I say…’scared’ none other than the medicine and Mr and Mrs ‘N’.

It is indisputable and undeniably (sometimes dangerously and can lead to trouble) fun to observe people especially kids (I’m not someone who practices hemophilia, OK!) since the way they behave, talk or the language they uttered or used, and the paralinguistic showed in some way resemble or mirror their parents behaviors and parenting’ style (REMEMBER! I have no intention against PARENTS, OK! Since I believe in some way…I’m mirror my parents….but, it’s so complicated).

What am I trying to covey here is…..don’t get fool by what other people said to you; either they talked behind your back or in front of you because people sometimes used ‘words’ to lie. Yet, everyone has lied before Right? What is the different is the purpose of lying. Therefore, non-verbal expressions are essential aspects that we need to look at coz I bet no one want to be the ‘liars’ victim’. Trust me! U don’t need to be linguistically or psychologically experts to become an observer. The tip that I can give is ‘BE ALERT’.

XOXO THAT’S ALL

What am i trying to say here are...

Don't ever make ur life too difficult for urself
Don't let other people decide what u want n need to be...but...color ur own life
Don't let other people judgment bring u down coz...they're not God
Only God decided whether...we are bad or good....because there is no absolute definition

Am I A Fireman Yet?

This is a story sent by one of my friends to me about LOVE of a mother towards her child and about the COURAGE of a child who kept his ambition high although life seem to be too short for him...

In Phoenix , Arizona , a 26-year-old mother stared down at her 6 year old son, who was dying of terminal leukemia. Although her heart was filled with sadness, she also had a strong feeling of determination.Like any parent, she wanted her son to grow up & fulfill all his dreams. Now that was no longer possible…

The leukemia would see to that. But she still wanted her son's dream to come true. She took her son' s hand and asked,

'Billy, did you ever think about what you wanted to be once you grew up? Did you ever dream and wish what you would do with your life?'Mommy,
'I always wanted to be a fireman when I grew up.'Mom smiled back and said 'Let's see if we can make your wish come true.'

Later that day she went to her local fire Department in Phoenix , Arizona , where she met Fireman Bob, who had! a heart as big as Phoenix . She explained her son's final wish and asked if it might be possible to give her 6 year-old son a ride around the block on a fire engine.

Fireman Bob said, 'Look, we can do better than that. If you'll have your son ready at seven o'clock Wednesday morning, we'll make him an honorary Fireman for the whole day. He can come down to the fire station, eat with us, go out on all the fire calls, the whole nine yards! · And if you'll give us his sizes, we'll get a real fire uniform for him, with a real fire hat - not a toy -- one-with the emblem of the Phoenix Fire Department on it, a yellow slicker like we wear and rubber boots.''

They're all manufactured right here in Phoenix , so we can get them fast.'

Three days later Fireman Bob picked up Billy, dressed him in his uniform and escorted him from his hospital bed to the waiting hook and ladder truck. Billy got to sit on the back of the truck and help steer it back to the fire station. He was in heaven.
There were three fire calls in Phoenix that day and Billy got to go out on all three calls. He rode in the different fire engines, the Paramedic's' van, and even the fire chief's car. He was also videotaped for the local news program. Having his dream come true, with all the love and attention that was lavished upon him, so deeply touched Billy, that he lived three months longer than any doctor thought possible.
One night all of his vital signs began to drop dramatically and the head nurse, who believed in the hospice concept - that no one should die alone, began to call the family members to the hospital.

Then she remembered the day Billy had spent as a Fireman, so she called the Fire Chief and asked if it would be possible to send a firemanin uniform to the hospital to be with Billy as he made his transition

The chief replied, 'We can do better than that. We'll be there in five minutes. Will you please do me a favor? When you hear the sirens screaming and see the lights flashing, will you announce over thePA system that there is not a fire?'' It's the department coming to see one of its finest members one more time. And will you open the window to his room?'

About five minutes later a hook and ladder truck arrived at the hospital and extended its ladder up to Billy's third floor open window--------16 fire-fighters climbed up the ladder into Billy's room.
With his mother's permission, they hugged him and held him and told him how much they LOVED him.

With His dying breath, Billy looked up at the fire chief and said,'Chief, am I really a fireman now?'

Billy, you are, and The Head Chief, Jesus, is holding your hand,' the chief saidWith those words, Billy smiled and said,
'I know, He's Been holding my hand all day, and The angels have been Singing..'He closed his eyes one last time

FAVORITE VALENTINE SONGS

When it comes to Valentine Day, there are two songs which i could remember and they are "My Funny Valentine" by Chaka Khan and the song "My Valentine" by Martina McBride. Enjoy these two songs in my playlist below and the songs lyric here

My Valentine by Martina McBride

If there were no words
No way to speak
I would still hear you
If there were no tears
No way to feel inside
I'd still feel for you

And even if the sun refuse to shine
Even if romance ran out of rhyme
You would still have my heart
Until the end of time
You're all I need My love,
my Valentine

All of my life
I have been waiting for
All you give to me
You've opened my eyes
And shown me how to love unselfishly
I've dreamed of this a thousand times before
In my dreams I couldn't love you more
I will give you my heart
Until the end of time
You're all I need My love, my Valentine

La da da Da da da da

And even if the sun refuse to shine
Even if romance ran out of rhyme
You would still have my heart
Until the end of time
Cuz all I need Is you, my Valentine

You're all I need My love, my Valentine

To My Friend, Lover and Partneron Valentine's Day

On Valentine's Day, I'm thinking of all the things you are
that make life more interesting and exciting, and blessed,
so much better in every way than it would be without you.
You're my friend...
You support me, encourage me, bring out the best in me.
I trust you and feel completely safe with you,
so I can share with you my hopes, my dreams,
and even secrets I've never told anyone else.
You've created a refuge for me to come to
when I need to escape from the hard edges of life.
You're my lover...
When we explore every part of each other, touching, teasing,
creating ecstatic fever in each other, such sweet torment--
I marvel that we can create togethersuch astonishing pleasure.
With you, I feel satisfied, complete,
wild and peaceful at the same time.
I've never felt this way with anyone else.
You're my partner...
You let me know that whatever life hands me
I'll have you on my side to help me.
I'm grateful for all that you give to me,all that you do for me.
Together, we can live life to the fullest.
I'm so glad we found each other.
You're the joy of my life,
and I'm so very happy to have you as my Valentine!
